It is very nice on one of the competitor websites to be able to view all your past teams as needed. For your site, there is no way to view past teams, the lineups, results, etc. We were just researching how our very first mixed team did and who was on it for our community and fortunately the other site still had info. No way to do that with your site.4 votes
It would be helpful to have an area where communication from the Captain is logged and the entire team can view this team communication. It would allow you to be able to keep a record in what you have communicated to the team without having to go to your personal email account4 votes
This has already been started. All emails are presently logged in the database and we are working on a “front end” for this as well.
This has been completed and will continue to be enhanced with attachments and other features.
It would be great to be able to continue to have the match dates visible as you scroll down the player list to set the availability. If you have a team roster that is longer than the screen and you scroll down you lose visibility of the dates and it becomes difficult and confusing when you are selecting the match dates for which you would like to update the availability.1 vote
This is completed if you are using Firefox. We are working to find a solution for Microsoft IE since it doesn’t support this as easily.
calculate ALTA player point valuation for playoffs to ease creating lineups for post season.1 vote
The site will automatically calculate playoff points based off who you put in the line up. Plus it does it “realtime” with no page refreshes.
Here is a blog article about it: http://blog.tennispoint.com/2008/04/25/how-tennispoint-com-helps-create-lineups-for-alta-playoffs/
Let us know any questions.
This is a good idea. How much of the information should captains be able to update though? Plus, should the captain ONLY be able to update it when the user is in a “not registered” status?
Captains can update a player’s contact info – emails and phone numbers anytime to help keep all information updated.
We have many players that participate in MULTIPLE leagues at the same time and even though our "all matches" tab is good it can still be some scrolling when their are 4 or 5 of them and NOT make it overly clear which match to "report to next".
We are working up concepts that would be a player's dashboard and would show upcoming matches.
FYI, we would make it a setting so that when people log in they could either be taken to their dashboard page or "All Matches" still.4 votes
this has already been completed in the application
Would the ALTA Scorekeepers out there like a scorekeeper service built into TennisPoint?1 vote
The ALTA scorekeeper service is fully integrated into TennisPoint.
When there is a rain-out or other event which prevents the teams from playing at the normal time, we usually enter "flex scheduling" mode where the one team's player contacts the other team's player to coordinate a time to play. If we could email the line-up with contact info of the players in that line-up with the press of a button, life would be that much easier. I spent 10 minutes cutting and pasting name, phone and email for each player in the line-up to an email last night to send to the other teams captain - not fun.1 vote
The system actually already does this. If you change the match to “rain out mode” you will notice you get the option to email all your player’s contact info.
Check out this blog article: http://blog.tennispoint.com/2009/09/24/rain-mode-available-now/
I want to send out a feeler email to all my tennis contacts to see if I can get enough people to create a team. Tennispoint doesn't let me send emails UNTIL I create a team.1 vote
You can now do this in the messages tab and email anyone in your address book and even new emails.
Solicitation is not cool!1 vote
We never share email address with any other company. We will at times send out emails for “partners” and those emails are always sent from us to ensure you email is safe and secure!
You can also unsubscribe from these partner emails and really any email in your ’account settings".
Not being the captain, I cannot view everyone else's availability for matches. It's quite possible I'm missing something but haven't been able to figure it out yet.2 votes
captain can change this to be visible to the team or just for the captains/co-captains.
Why isn't this site protected via SSL? There is personal information on this site and it is just left open for anyone to sniff. You should value your subscribers information more than this. I tell everyone they should not put their personal information on this site1 vote
All the “logged in” pages are protected with your username/password and no one can get into the site without it.
As for why we don’t make EVERY page SSL encrypted is to keep the speed of the website as fast as possible — we DO use SSL on all the “credit card purchase” pages. Most large companies like Amazon.com do the same thing.
Need to get feedback on my facility so we can improve if needed.1 vote

On the Availability page - when I hover over the printer icon the title property has "printer" misspelled1 vote
thx – fixed.
I played a USTA scrimmage this weekend and each match (total of 5) was a 10-game pro set. When attempting to enter the scores in TennisPoint, I found that the scoring area does not accept double digits. It would be great to be able to keep up with scores in this situation.1 vote
this can be done now.
Color code the availability grid so it's easier to see, at a glance, who's available.8 votes
